8/9/2023 0 Comments Pine state biscuits division![]() ![]() I guarantee that I will never grace the door of a Pine State Biscuit restaurant ever again. I politely declined to order and took my business to another restaurant near y that was much more appreciative of my business, understanding and kind in helping me place a takeout order. So far, this place was the only establishment that has treated me like this. I travel for business and have tried to support “mom and pop” restaurants during the COVID pandemic. It was 8:00 AM on Sunday morning, not a soul around, no Grub Hub or Uber Eats delivery guys or anyone else in sight! Really! The person who answered was again very rude telling me they were really busy and it would likely be over an hour wait. I walked outside, dialed the number and tried again to make an order. Once again yelled at and told I had to leave and to phone an order in. I tried to calmly explain that I knew exactly what I wanted and wanted to make a take out order. I was immediately yelled at by the staff and told I couldn’t just walk in and order. Luckily, Pine State has installed late-night hours till 11 pm on Division and Alberta, however, because the Reggie Deluxe ($8), a towering biscuit, oozing sausage or shiitake gravy, cheese and fried chicken stack, was always best as a reward for a late-night dare. Shame that Pine State bags out on service eight hours before Sizzle it'd be a clearinghouse for drunken post-Blazer dreams.
